I did LFR. <hangs head> Why? Tell me why I thought it would be a good idea? What makes it worse was I had to keep signing up. The first one I jumped into was Zul only. They had already killed FD and Vectis. We pulled the entire platform of adds. We basically died a… Read More Yup, I can say I have done it now.
I made a concerted effort this time round to change class/role and try something new. What this has made me realise is how much I love and miss playing my mage. Not sure what that means moving forward into the new xpac, but I have enjoyed jumping on her and doing the odd heroic/mythic/LFR. I… Read More Class: I miss my mage.
Raiding has been an ongoing theme lately, Wednesday night is generally for the heroics so I just chill out, I normally get pulled into the next nights run to do whatever is left – generally from Juggernaut. We have some ups and downs – sadly my DPS is the same, some nights I can pump… Read More Garrosh rumble
I realised I had not handed in my Wrathion quest after picking up the Chimera of Fear, so I trundled off to do that and discovered things about our leader I think is awfully sexy :p cage match anyone?? But also, he may not be the best person to lead the Alliance…or is he?? I… Read More Sweet weapon and general maintenance
So returning to a game you love is pretty difficult because it is amazing the amount of information you forget that at one time seemed really important, but that you don’t realise you have forgotten, because like a remembral – you can’t remember what it is your forgot, even if you do know that you… Read More Dumbest things I have done recently
One thing I have noticed since roaming around Ogrimmar is the amount of thugs now harassing the poor little people. I dislike Garrosh who really does like him? I can’t wait to lay some smackdown on him, so of course that requires I do some LFR!!! Hubby and I signed up for it and copped… Read More Looking for Garrosh
ok, so I started blogging and then have been so addicted to the game I have done nothing but play. So, this post will be an attempt at a full update which I can then proceed to update normally after 🙂 There is a lot in here, so bear with me and enjoy the amount… Read More Catch up….long post
I cannot stress how much fun I have been having in LFR!! In the last few days I have done even more of them and I still have more to go. I was hoping to get to through all of them before reset this week, but couldn’t quite manage it. I admit to being chuffed… Read More Kill ALL THE THINGS!!!
o.O shinies!! So many shinies!!! LFR!! ooooooooohhhh…was sooo nommy ommy!! Well not that I actually received much actual loot from the LFR’s I did…but that is not the point!! I went in and I kicked some big baddy butt 🙂 I think I got one piece of useful/upgradeable gear – that Timeless Isle stuff is… Read More LFR!!! Lookey lookey!!!
I hit 90 on my mage last week and have been just trying to get my gearscore up. I am playing arcane at the moment as it appears to be the only spec I can get more than 15k out of…which is weird given I have seen myself shoot upwards of 80k as arcane…I can’t… Read More MoP Stuff
I have been healing on my pally. To be honest, it was mostly PVP, but then I have no idea why I decided to heal some heroics. Pain and suffering. We wiped on a couple of bosses, mainly because I was an idiot, like the eye balls – I got stunned and died. Then on… Read More I healed…yeah…me…healing!!?!?!?
I jumped online last night to run an LFR with a twitter friend @mementh. He finally got this legendary daggers – GRATS!! and I wanted to see his wings 🙂 So we did the second half of LFR with some friends of his and generally it went ok. Had some issues on Spine – I… Read More LFR should come with a warning
Sorry for all the transmog posts lately….I blame JD 🙂 Yes yes!! Tonight, I transmogged another olympic outfit…the Javelin, but whilst trolling around transmog sites and gear, I found the set I wanted for my warrior….the Revenant set! All purple and I chased down some quests which rewarded the items and I have to farm two… Read More Purple Nurples and other addictions 😀
Every week without fail I run LFR on my Druid for the VP and gear. I despise it, but until I get to 385 Ilevel I can’t really get into a PUG! Today had me amazed though. We wiped on Ultraxion trash, then we wiped on Ultraxion because apparently only 3 people were doing above… Read More LFR lols old post I forgot to publish 🙂
So after another Morning of looking up guilds I am giving up – officially. I can’t continue looking for a guild when I am just setting myself up for disappointment. I am pretty much just going to stick with my current guild but as a non raider and just do LFR on the toons I… Read More LFR is my future
We are so close on Spine it is not funny. Last night we just cocked up every single attempt with something silly and it just caused a night of annoyance really. The best we got was to the last tendon with about 20% left, but then we got overrun with bloods as the amalgamation was… Read More Still on Spine
Finally!!! I got me a Violet Drake! I only had one more day to get it and I did not want to miss out this year 🙂 I always fail because of the PVP achievements you need for Children’s week, not being a big PVPer, I have no res gear and no PVP skills… Read More Long, Strange, Trip
Logtar has suggested another deep thinking topic: The last couple of years in WoW have changed the game quite a bit. While it is very easy to jump into the “elite” vs “casual” vs “noob” bandwagon type of discussion, what is causing it I think is a more interesting topic. Do you guys think that… Read More Shared Topic: Knowledge Killing
Yeah, I am a complete hypocrite, I know! I keep saying I hate LFR and yet I am always in there. For all the crappy attitudes you can find in there, it is still a great way to get experience, try out toons and score gear. Even if you are the bottom of the dps.
Ultraxion trash….just thinking of it brings tears to my eyes. I didn’t mind the old trash, I swear it was fine!! This new style has the guild bested. I suspect the tanks inability to actually hit the mobs makes it harder than it needs to be; but I kid you not, tonight was the first… Read More Improvement is in the eye of the beholder!
