I just cannot even tell you how much of a struggle it is to log on and find the energy to do these stupidly bad dailies in the new zones. I don’t like to dislike this game because I genuinely love it. I have played since Vanilla because my love outweighs most all things.
This is pushing it though. Jokingly my husband went out at 6.30pm and said to me I will bet you will still be suffering through those when I get back (eta 9.30pm). I started them with Apophis at 6.39ish (let’s not go into overkill) and not a word of a lie, I was just handing in the last part as my husband pulled into the garage. I jumped offline and went and watch Critical Role to cheer myself up.
3 hours to complete Nazjatar and Mechagon. This is why I don’t do dailies as a general rule. It shouldn’t take me that long to get a total of about 20 quests complete. The amount of time spent running/flying between locations – especially with the varied topography is just frustratingly annoying, not including the sheer volume of mobs that seem to live in/near/on the roads.
I seem to be struggling with my reputation gains anyway because my Naz rep is 8800/12000 honoured but my Mech rep is only 4000/12000 and I am doing them both on the same day. I am clearly missing something in Mech and I don’t know what. Anyone else have that difference?
On a positive note, I was pretty excited the other day to find I finally had all the mats to make the lasercat, initially it said I couldn’t because I needed to find someone else – I thought perhaps you had to have engineering, then we found some guy sold the blueprint, so then i could again. It was a rollercoaster of emotions guys 🙂
Michael on the other hand spend all his mats recently on this little guy – I have no idea how or where or which quest, but I am hoping I am doing it somewhere along the line! So here are the 4 of us on our mounts.
So…here is to a few more days of painful dailies in amongst some raiding 🙂 Wish me luck to get through this. I just want to be able to fly, thank Ysera for the jetpacks in Mecha – they make such a difference.
At Mech, there’s an overall daily quest that awards 850 rep per day. It’s usually something like “Open 6 mechanical chests”, or “Kill 3 rares”, or “Complete activities on Mechagon” an you fill up a bar to 100%. This also awards a critical part needed to craft the trinket/ring or other gadgets. It’s automatically added to your quest log when you zone in each day, so make sure you check for it.
Ahhh that explains that, I am sure I am completing it every day, but will definitely pay more attention in case I am not!!
