I was once again late to raid on Wednesday night, which happened to be the last one for me for a while due to Karate being back on. So when I finally did get into the game, I was told they had killed Rastakhan!!! I was very impressed – that was a hellish fight (and mostly sad I missed it).
I have no idea if they got me a screenshot but I am sure someone will send me something if they did…eventually.
I actually turned up whilst they were attempted Mekkatorque and it sounded like they were about to kill him. Not having read up about the next fight (I had researched the crap out of Rasta), I had no clue what Nelly was calling out – blue you’re orange, then blue, then red; Red you’re blue, then green, then..what the hell are you on about.
Blessedly they wiped 🙂 Muhahahahah.

I got an invite and jumped in, Nelly getting me to root things like a good druid straight off the bat. We then did the fight again – me having zero clue what was going on – just rooting little bots and hoping like heck I didn’t get shrunk because I was so confused about the colour calls.
Would you believe I got shrunk on the last one about 30 seconds before the boss died, so my ineptitude didn’t affect the raid!

It is definitely a different experience being in a run with the guild when we are doing a new boss. People aren’t joking around as much, they are more easily frustrated and everyone wants their idea to be the one that works.
Ultimately, we get it done and that is the important thing 🙂

The rest of this evening was spent on Blockade. Can I just say…what in heck Blizz. OMG. This is horrific. Solidly, horribly, terribly icky. This fight made me long for Patchwerk. Seriously. I just want a nice easy fight were I can face-roll my way to success 🙂 LOL
I was on the ship with the sirens and it was pretty difficult to stay out of the poop, get the siren, stay behind the poop if you got targeted by said siren but also drop the poop in a useful spot. Yuergh. Horrid. Even the slightest delay or bad placement and you were sent off the ship to your death. End of story.
It took us a few attempts to get this bit due to sudden onset death of our boat, but once we got it handled we had about 5 attempts where we made it back to the pier.
It was at this point even I got frustrated. Maybe because I had just watched the strat video or maybe I was just annoyed at the sirens, no idea. Not because we were wiping but because people would not stack up on each other. Like seriously guys you need to be on top of each other to reduce the ground mess. Don’t stand next to each other – you just spread it out. OMG!! Unless you played all the way zoomed in with your camera – you don’t need to see your actual toon.
If you do play with your camera zoomed all the way in – I would suggest you are doing something grievously wrong. Wrong!
Of course it was making me even more annoyed people were blaming everything but themselves as to why we were failing and trying to come up with different solutions to a problem which didn’t even exist. (Omg that sentence structure is terrible but I am still annoyed!)

Anyway we weren’t getting very far into this one, adds being dropped early, balls not being soaked, ground covered in muck. Hopefully next attempts will be better.
