Yes, the famous one 🙂 I knew her before she became famous, that makes our friendship real right? HAHAHHA
Zeirah has a blog which is how I met her, when I came back to the game a while ago, we discovered our blog names were soooooo close. I sent her a message just to let her know because I thought it was cool that someone came up with a very similar blog name, but I was more concerned people would think she was me and I didn’t want her having to put up with that sort of confusion. Getting a reader base is hard enough in such a niche thing without people thinking it was me and not engaging with her.
Suffice it to say we have been friends since 🙂 She is awesome so go past and check out her blog if you haven’t read it!
Due to one of her posts recently where she was lamenting the loss of group content that wasn’t a PUG or LFR, I decided to start trying to wrangle her into our runs. The first of course being a couple of mythics. I point out again, Michael, was unavailable. I mean this time the excuse was some sort of dinner for one of their good friends…I mean what is that?!?!?! How dare they have friends outside of WoW!! It was a perfect opportunity for me to pull Zeirah in with us and have a run around.
We pulled in Matty, poor Orkrist to help us DPS. Motherlode made me laugh so hard. I warned Zeirah that we usually went down the left side of the instance and she stuck left. Pulled mobs from behind houses, pulled mobs to the side, pulled mobs everywhere. It was hilarious. She moves a lot as a healer, which is fine except for this instance. She started swearing towards the end of the run when it happened but I almost had tears from laughing so hard. I was calling out for her to move to the left or right to avoid mobs and it was almost always too late….ahahhaha
Matty kept dying because he was standing in stuff, pulling aggro (not deliberately) and just being in the wrong spot at the wrong time. I would have hated to see his repair bill. It was such a fun run though.
So much fun we decided to head to Underrot as well – suckers for punishment if you ask me. At one point we all died except Zeirah who was being attacked by one mob she ran halfway through the instance to meet us coming back in just so we could save her. Must be great when you are actually a good healer – to be able to survive when taking damage, unlike some other people attempting to heal. We pulled so many extra mobs in here as well, the first couple of pulls on the ramps being super bad – but we can only put that down to Drew for a change. I make sure to get a few food “gg tank” comments in there. He spent the entire last xpac telling me the same when we wiped….lol
I don’t think we got any great gear but it was fun to just be running around and having a laugh.
