Dungeons!!

Stab and Pracey are so far ahead of us in levels due to their annual leave I suspect they will be well into gearing for heroics by the time this post is live, I left them at 119.

Nibble is at 113 (I am pretty sure), might be 114 actually,  and Moryrt and myself are at 112.  We had about 5 level 120’s in the guild when I logged on (which is pretty well done imho) and quite a few in the 117+ range.  I noted that the world first happened at about 1pm our time. Amazing! Or insane….I can never decide, you can see WoWhead’s post about it. It was a Method player so I am not surprised by that at all. Grats!

I digress. Moryrt and I were levelling when the call to run some dungeons was made. Given this is our mythic group, we decided to give them a try.  Moryrt even set up his iPad to read through the guides so that we weren’t just smashing through; we learnt too late in the last xpac about many of the boss/trash talents during high level mythics, so this time we want to be better prepared.

Balance, Retribution, Vengeance, Mistweaver and a Stabber make up our team and we did really well for it.  No wipes, not even any deaths. We didn’t need much healing and we were well behaved, no issues with threat for Moryrt either.

Our first random was Temple of Sethraliss, here is the group sitting down for some chow before beginning. I believe Nibble and Moryrt are having a moment of communion between tank and healer (it might be a new BfA thing).

All the bosses in here are pretty easy, I think the lightening boss Galvazzt will be the healer challenge in mythics and the last boss The Avatar of Sethraliss will be the DPS race.  Merektha and Adderis & Aspix I don’t feel were awful but they will just be messy.  We did this one twice via the random and we went through it much faster the second time and our boss kills were faster.  The pathing field of mobs with the eyes before the last boss will be an absolute slaughter house in mythic I imagine – I am not looking forward to that overall.

We then got Atal’Dazar which was amazing!!! I want to live in this place. I love the architecture.

Here we are before starting.  This had some fun fights which I think are going to be absolutely horrific in mythics..possibly even heroic.

We started with Vol’kaal and his poison thing on the ground and each other is going to be a testament to keeping a group together, I suspect standing on or near him then just moving backward is going to be the way to go. We can test that out over time.

Rezan is a giant dinosaur and such an interesting fight. There is no way I am going to cope in mythic. He fears, he chases, you have to avoid raptor bones and you can’t even stand in the middle (which is the obvious choice!) I loved it, even if I stepped on two lots of bones.

Priestess Alun’za and Yazma are a bit meh…they didn’t seem hard at this level, I imagine that will be more difficult with affixes etc.

All in all we had fun running the dungeons and we got to 112 by the end of the night.  Only 8 more levels to go. The dungeons are very lovely and the fights are fun so far of what we have seen.
