First impressions :D

Before we discuss first impressions I have to tell you about the excitement I had leading up to BfA.  I had scheduled 2 weeks leave, but it was cancelled due to circumstances at my new job.  So I wanted to ensure I had maximum game time on Tuesday night and I had jokingly said to Moryrt (hubby) I wanted him to have the lights set to red (For the Horde!! of course) and the World of Warcraft Theme song playing as I entered the house.

I kid you not.

He pulled it off.

I was laughing my butt off when I walked inside.  I thought it was fantastic and I was clapping and dancing 🙂  It was brilliant. He is simply amazing to me. I am so grateful he does these small things which mean so much. <gushing>

We shovelled food really quickly as I didn’t want to be trying to eat while questing etc and then went upstairs to….our red room…

Yeah…we horded out 🙂

We jumped online and found that Nibblepie was just starting at the same time as us so we grouped up together and started the questline!  We got our hearts, added a first choice to it, then did the Stormwind Scenario. My wonderful Jaina tried to kill me, I will have words with her later.

Here are the three of us at the top of the mountain after meeting the King 🙂

We all found it quite hilarious that we could just walk into some foreign territory with some people really fighting against us being accepted and then not 2 minutes later they are showing us to their vault where they keep the wealth of the empire….not a smart move Princess Talanji.

Finding our profession trainers was a pain in the butt. Moryrt was trying to help me as a Demonhunter and says “follow me, I know the way” and proceeds to jump off the side of the building, flap his giant Demonhunter wings and laugh at my boomchicken wondering where he would land. He was just showing off!

We spent the time on discord with Pracey as well just grabbing quests and collecting and killing.  I fell in love.

Just look at those fluffy as heck faces!!  LOOK AT THEM!!!!! OMG I took so many pictures you would all be seriously ashamed of me.

Here is another one – omg look how cute they are. I want one. A mount one day? I really hope so. Blizzard please make these an easily obtainable mount. I just cannot stop looking at them without smiling.

Pracey eventually met up with us and was running around killing everything for us.  We ended the night because of maintenance (BOOOOO!!!), explain to me why you would release an xpac and then continue with the maintenance for the week.  Just cancel it people. Seriously. It could have waited a week.

We didn’t quite make it to 111, but we are not far off, I think maybe 10% or less to get the rest of the way.

I am enjoying it so far but I think it is too early to give any real idea on how I am feeling about it. Graphics are nice, the scenery is lovely as expected, the music is enjoyable. The usual standard.

Two standouts for me :the stealthing through Stormwind was really well executed; I was actually a little stressed due to the speed which was nice to have adrenalin pumping and the cinematic of the new land – it was simply gorgeous.

How is everyone else going?
