Topic 36: Farewell to Legion

Wow it has been a while for one of these. I was checking every couple of weeks so am super happy.  The end of xpac lull always makes it difficult to find things to write about so I am super happy I have at least 1 post for the moment, and fingers crossed other blogs to read it on.

Part 1 – What were your top 3 moments in Legion?

This could be anything! We want you to take a moment to look back and think about what it was that made Legion a great expansion for you? Did you achieve something in game for the first time during Legion? Was there a quest line or NPC or zone that you absolutely fell in love with? Or was there a piece of music or a mechanic that you fell in love with. Share your favourites in this topic 🙂

Part 2 – What are you most looking forward to about Battle for Azeroth?

For this one, it’s time to look forward. Whether you’re Horde or Alliance, there is much to look forward to in the new expansion. This topic isn’t necessarily focused on zones or NPCs that you’re looking forward to seeing (though that, of course, absolutely counts and of course feel free to write about these!) but maybe it’s something more than that. Are there some goals that you’re wanting to achieve now that a new expansion is on the horizon? Are there changes coming to your class that you are really excited about?

Part 1 – Top 3 moments in Legion

Definitely tanking. Just being the tank has been an amazing experience and one I do not want to give up.  If only my guild could change their raid days, it would make me super happy as I would be able to keep tanking.  I am actually really devastated I won’t be going into the next xpac raiding with them.  I hadn’t anticipated how much I would enjoy it.

I plan on tanking mythics still and my druid is likely to still be my main, so I will still get to see my purple bear 🙂

Ahead of the curve would be second. But that goes with the first 😀

Third would be getting the puzzle mounts – yes I know, I didn’t have to actually solve the puzzles entirely but I managed to get quite a few this xpac and I really enjoyed the running around with friends part of getting them.

Part 2 – What are you most looking forward to about Battle for Azeroth?

Levelling toons again. I really enjoy levelling and questing through content for the first 3-4 toons. I can just tune out, read what I need, farm the things . You can just be roaming around and dying because you forget you are not max level anymore and grabbing packs is not the smart way to get anything done 😀

I like seeing the new areas, appreciating the artwork. I take way too many screenshots at the start of the xpac because everything is so pretty and new and shiny!

I can’t ever seem to make it to the 5th toon. I wonder if that is because I don’t like the class as I generally level my fav 4 first.  Mage, Druid, Paladin, Warrior – then whatever I have next level highest.  I am stuck this xpac though as everything is still stuck at Drainor and I just can’t bring myself to get through it.  I might save up for my birthday and by myself some character boosts!  LOL

  1. I completely understand your love of tanking. It is truly a fun role to play. Sadly I lack the confidence to tank without a good fun loving and supportive guild or friends else I would tank far more often than I do now.

    1. Part of the reason I only tank in Guild groups. You will never see me tanking LFR by myself 🙂 i do not have real world
Barkskin so I appreciate having people I know in my group.
