I was devastated to learn last night, the mobile armory has been retired?!?! I was hut enough when the AH was stopped on the mobile app but I couldn’t really say I used it a lot. I would be lying if so.
The fact it would be really useful right now before a new xpac and whilst trying to make millions of dollars for a mount is irrelevant….really…it is just whinging for whinging sake.
But i used the armory a lot more, it kept me up to date on guild calendar – I logged in and signed up for raids on it, i jumped into guild chat if I was a passenger, I checked out my characters, planned for world events etc.
I attempted to log in last night to check when the War of Thorns was starting as I had remembered seeing it on the calendar, only to be greeted with this:
I was shocked! SHOCKED TO MY CORE! I am devastated and unable to feel connected to Warcraft. My addiction and withdrawal symptoms are peaking 🙂
They say they plan to move more into the companion app space, so we shall see what happens with that, but I miss having the connection to my guild and the ingame calendar. Hurry up and bring something back please Blizz.
Release date is getting closer and if you haven’t seen this handy little map, you should check it out now. Sydney is 8am AEST for worldwide release. I would suggest maybe hanging around until 10/11am before attempting it and see if the servers are still up at that point 🙂
I have organised leave from work for this (and a wedding in Sydney), originally it was going to be 2 weeks but then I changed jobs so honestly I am not sure anymore. I am currently in discussion with the bosses to find out if I can still take the leave as organised prior to my acceptance of the role.
Hubby might still be getting sent to India, we should find out more today, which would also put the plan for leave in jeopardy; I wouldn’t want to waste having 2 weeks off without him. But we shall see how all that pans out over the next couple of days.
Also did the War of Thorns Part 1. Sylvanas has a point about ensuring we don’t get attacked by the alliance with the new power of azurite. We can’t trust those alliance scumbags. :p It is her job as the Warchief to ensure the horde is safe so I can understand her need to on the front foot when it comes to anything which could give them an upper hand.
I liked the wisp wall though, it was very pretty 😀 I am not really excited about the mount we get, I would much rather the alliance one:
It is much prettier than the Bat thing horde get, but also looks very badass. Horde can like hippogrpyhs as well you know!! So the play through was ok, I haven’t gone back for the world quests – I probably should for some gear on my lower toons.
Need to see what happens next!
