There it is!!

14th August!

We have the date.  Most of the people in my guild seem like are planning on taking a couple of weeks leave, including me and Drew to just enjoy the game.  I am looking forward to it.  I was already working out how much leave I had.  The 14th is a Tuesday so is that 14th for us or 14th for USA?  I can’t remember anymore…

I was looking at getting the Collectors Edition but I can’t justify the price in Aus.  Honestly I would be buying it mainly for the:

HORDE & ALLIANCE DOUBLE-SIDED MARK OF ALLEGIANCE

Declare your allegiance with this hefty two-sided emblem. Place it on your desk or shelf with one side facing outward, proclaiming your chosen faction to the world . . . while the other side faces the wall, bowing in quiet shame. Stand included.

It looks like a sexy piece. The CE also has a book with stories and pictures, plus the soundtrack. So is always nice to have the extras, but $145…yeah….more than I can justify.

I saw it on the Blizz FB update first as I woke up and then went to MMO Champ to get more information which even has a trailer etc.  I am yet to watch it, I might watch it this weekend.

This then opens up the entire discussion about which toon do you level first?  Which toon do we want to play on for the next expansion.  Craig was telling me he had a definite plan for his toons and knows which will be done first in order. Me  – I am just wondering if I want to tank again. The main issue to that being I want to go back to karate and that is the same night as our raid.  Karate > WoW, so unless the Wednesday night changes I am not sure I can commit to being a tank or a raider if I can only raid on Friday nights.  I am sure the discussion will come up closer to the release date.

On the upside we now have an end date of when you have to complete the things you want to – like Balance of Power on my Druid, the Brawler’s guild on my mage and other class mounts.
