As part of the quest chain to get reputation with the Nightfallen, I was required to do a couple of heroics (Acway and CoS). So whilst we were waiting for Oui to come home and do some mythics, I convinced Ben and Drew to run me through the heroics. I figured we would smash them out very quickly and I could then continue with the hell called Suramar. At last check before the heroics I was 7000/12000 through honoured wondering if I really did need this glowy bear butt.
However we went to CoS, and I tried to smash through the mobs we needed so that should we get it on mythic + again we have a better idea – especially as i failed last time.
At the end of the heroic as the last boss died…my toon had a green flash and I was very confused.
I got revered!! YES!!! So I headed straight back to Suramar and got the stupid scroll needed and then grabbed the next part of the quest chain. Drew says, “Don’t you want to do the other heroics as well for rep?”I say, “No fucking way!! I got what I needed!!” LOL. I was already annoyed with Suramar for the day as I wasn’t able to hand in the quests I completed because I had to farm more ancient mana to feed the addicts. I was empty from having completed the Leylines the day before. I hate this place – have I mentioned that?
Thus begins part 10/21 which is running 3 mythics and getting items from them.
Thankfully no keys needed just mythic level. By this time Oui was home so we pulled him into the group and then tried to find a fifth. Metafor (Aaron) jumped in with us. Given this list of quests has my 2 most hated mythics we decided to start with Vault of Wardens, and you know….again, it wasn’t that bad. Ben seemed to know where to move with the light on the last boss and that made it so much easier. We even did the world quest which was the owl puzzle Start up sequence.
I have avoided it so much that I even managed to get the achievements!
I feel so proud of myself…lol….I got Ahead of the Curve before I went into VoW!
We headed to the Arcway after that to get another one completed and managed to get 2 achievements as well. I wonder if I should investigate the Dungeon achievement and see how many I have on my druid…given the amount of mythics we have been running lately.
It was pretty funny in the Arcway, as the last boss ports us back, Ben says he knows the way so I follow him Aaron says, “Are you sure?” whilst running in a different direction, with affirmative responses I continue to follow Ben who then not 3 seconds later says… “Actually I am not sure! Turn around!!” hahahaahh I couldn’t stop laughing. The scapegoat being the map which doesn’t show a door but an open corridor.
I would have liked to have completed the CoS as well but Oui was keen to actually do a keyed and I had managed to score a NL+9, so we headed off to do that as Drew was sure he could handle it. Turns out the weeks affixes are buggers. Bursting and Skittish. We smashed through that without too much issue, occasionally I would forget about the DoT and pull extra stuff and Drew would huff and me..lol….I heard it through my headphones or there would be the low level “noooo”..oops.
I actually didn’t even check what my key upgraded to, so will need to check that out today, maybe we can get a few more mythics down over the easter weekend. I am glad to have gotten through the Suramar questline though. I am just a little closer now to my goal. Thanks to everyone.
