Been a long time since i have done one of these and am happy to be getting back into the Blogosphere. I have missed the community external to WoW and I am hoping to jump back in and see what is around. But let’s start with something nice and easy 😀 A topic I have no idea about :p

Whether you’re a casual achievement hunter, or a dedicated “must have them all” achievement hunting superstar, there’s no denying the satisfaction felt when that achievement ding sounds. But is there something missing from WoW?
For our latest challenge topic, we want to know:
If you could add an achievement to World of Warcraft, what would it be and how would someone achieve it?
Maybe you’ve felt there’s an obvious achievement that should be in game already. Or maybe you want to create an intricate quest line for people to get a special reward at the end. We want to know!
For me the really obvious one here was class mounts. I would have liked a class mount achievement saying that I had it. Some were a lot of work to obtain and whilst I get the mount itself is the “WOO Factor” I was a little disappointed there was no achievement flash. Unless there is one for getting all the mounts on every class? Which I won’t get since I still don’t have every class maxxed out and am unlikely to do so for a long time, if ever.
I feel this is especially important for people who had really crappy class mounts <cough> mages <cough> so we could at least feel we got something for the effort of killing hardish elementals.
Or even Druids who get a different flight form but no real choice in the matter, what if I liked the old form better? Why no running form because I can’t use my class mount on Antorus it just seems like a waste.
They built up these mounts as well for months and each is so unique, I don’t understand why they didn’t give you an achievement for it. The storylines for them are all amazing as well. So much work went into them and then…you get it and you have a little scene and that is it. No reminder of the moment.

You are so right! I never thought about that, it would have made sense to have had an achievement for it!
I am with you on the Druid Mount…It makes me ache. Oh, what I would not have given to be able to get a Hippogryph form instead. It’s already in the game and it has legs to run on!
