Balance of power….I kid you not…still…

The illustrious Nelly’s raid for my nightshards was a pretty resounding success. Apparently my terrible drop rate was unusual and I should have gotten more.  Well they dropped in the raid. Every boss gave me something – thankfully.

I am extremely grateful to this group of people for coming along and helping me smash through this raid. I cannot express the good feels I have at the moment.  We smashed through the first 5 bosses without any issue.  Somehow managed to kill Laura whilst she was eating Korean.  Ben never got her to confirm if she meant a person or the food 🙂 Either way we assume it was cold because her 4 minute delivery was closer to 10 and we pulled a boss whilst she was AFK. She was killed because of our actions and on top has to endure a cold Korean…possibly…she is a demon hunter after all.

We got a couple of achievements for completing the sections which I was sure I had done these fights on LFR, but I think that may have been on my mage.

So my total tally after all the fights was 16.

The number was so high because I managed to get 2 of the Curio’s during the run which was 3 instead of 1. Not too shabby at all.  So next week, I will only need to come in and kill maybe 5 bosses, jump out do the quest chain, go back and kill Gul’dan again and voila! End of chain.

Like I said, earlier I cannot thank the team enough for this.  If I was pugging I am sure it would have been a nightmare, but this way we burnt through it, picked up transmog gear (did you know Nelly is like a vacuum cleaner when it comes to transmog?) and have a laugh.

We ended up going to Emerald Nightmare afterwards as people needed things in there as well. Was also a super fast run, maybe 30 minutes? Not much longer really.

We saved Tur from a horrible death and even then Ursoc could not give up his hidden appearance. BOOOOOO!!! He is holding onto it so tightly! Cenarius was funny because Ben was asking about the achievement which had something to do with Malfurion, but literally – as he finished asking the question, the boss died and the achievement popped.  It is like some creepy children of the corn thing.

Brian got a legendary on his hunter, Michael didn’t get his hidden from the dragons but Nelly got her wrists for the transmog and Ben got a bunch of shards and I think Fred got some as well, Drew managed a total amount of 2.  I got to show my appreciation for their attendance to the earlier one especially as Ben was not feeling well – I am surprised he managed to stay as long as he did!

I wanted to get a group shot but everyone left the raid super fast, so instead I got an awesome shot of the three ladies, Nelly, me and Lana. The hawtness in this picture is amazing!  Just look at us. Hashtag Bearysexy.

Torment of Friendship

Sometimes when you are in a guild, you feel like you have found a home. A place where you can have fun, relax, beat up some baddies and just enjoy even more time in Azeroth.

I have never been one for guild halls as ideas because I would rather people be out and about in the world doing things than in a guild hall.  However I could see it being a bit of fun if designed as a central hub.  Something with profession trainer access, auction house, bank and raid zone portal/quick travel etc. You could hang around in guild halls doing your game world things and having fun.

That is some guilds. Not all guilds.  Certainly not mine.  Who after doing some messy attempts at Coven people who shall remain nameless (**cough** Nelly and Lana ** cough**) decided to taunt and mock me…

Just look at them.  Their dancing butts.  GLOWING!  What is worse….Nelly was emoting at me and wiggling her butt.  I was just…jealous. Pure and simple.  Everyone was laughing heartily at my despair.

The horror with this guild doesn’t end there…no my dear readers….I then did a mythic with our usual group…

only 40 deaths on a level 14….standard stuff for everyone right?  I will be fair Ben and Drew upped their DPS a huge amount so we were burning some things down pretty quick, but the bosses enraging meant we were still a little too low (I am guessing).  I think the trash killed us more than the bosses did.

However that wasn’t even the worst of it. I can deal with 40 deaths and missing the time. I can’t deal with what happened when I came out of the instance….to see Craig….

Like seriously?!!?!?  You just want to torment me!  He was laughing his butt off. Jumping across the road in front of me with his little critter family.  I nearly have a matching – set just need someone to mock me with the red one. Craig offered to do so, but i screamed and jumped offline before I could see it happen.

The only thing that made this bearable (badoom tish) was the fact that Nelly, after mocking me earlier had told me to check the guild calendar in game and she had (to my joy) added a guild run on Saturday night for us to go and get me to Shards.  We are hoping if we can get a few people we can maybe try mythic which might equal more of the little blighters, maybe even run some other raids after it.

So friendship is when people mock you constantly but then offer to help you 🙂  xoxo I love my guildies.
